Cansin Yaman Evrenosoglu obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Power Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey in 1998 and 2001 respectively, and his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas in 2006.
Currently, he is a Principal Expert at Research Center for Energy Networks (Forschungsstelle Energienetze - FEN) at ETH Zürich. In his role, he leads/performs industrial and academic research projects in the design, control, optimization, and protection of energy networks specializing in electricity transmission & distribution as well as electricity markets.
He publishes in IEEE and Elsevier journals, served as an Editor for IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid 2014 - 2019, and he is a Senior Member of IEEE.
