Staff of Research Center for Energy Networks
Additional information
Philippe Buchecker holds a degree in mechanical engineering (BSc ETH 2018, MSc ETH 2020) from ETH Zurich, where he started building an expertise in thermodynamics, internal combustion engines, renewable energy sources and multi-energy systems.
During his time at Ganser CRS AG, he was involved in the design, simulation and testing of common rail systems and injectors.
Since August 2020, he has been conducting research at ETH Zürich as a scientific assistant, initially working on the modelling and validation of energy technology models at the laboratory for aerothermochemistry and combustion systems (LAV) before moving to the research centre for energy networks (FEN). There, he is currently part of the development team for a modular simulation framework focused on multi-energy systems. Both research topics are part of the Renewable Management and Real-Time Control Platform (ReMaP) project in which he has been involved, in various forms, since the start of 2019.
