INTERCHARGE project was launched!
FEN is happy to announce that the kick-off meeting for the INTERCHARGE project was held on January 26th, 2024. The project is funded by the ETH Mobility Initiative under the Future Mobility Research Program. FEN partners with PSI-EEG.
During the kick-off meeting, the researchers at FEN and PSI had the opportunity to present their ideas and research plan to the industry collaborators - amag, EWZ, SBB, and Siemens.
The INTERCHARGE project aims to explore critical aspects of EV integration into the Swiss energy system, assess the impact on different voltage levels of the electricity grid and evaluate various strategies that can effectively prevent grid bottlenecks.
