Nikolaos Savvopoulos joins FEN
Nikolaos Savvopoulos joins Research Center for Energy Networks (Forschungsstelle Energienetze-FEN) as a researcher. FEN is very excited to welcome Nikos to its team.
Nikos did his Ph.D. on the "Contribution on the provision of flexibility services from distributed energy resources" with external pageProf. Nikolaos Hatziargyriou at National Technical University, Athens in Greece.
He is an Electrical & Computer Engineer specializing in the operation and planning of electrical power transmission and distribution systems. He worked in the Power Systems Group at ABB Corporate Research Center Switzerland (2016 – 2018) and completed his M.S. degree in Electrical & Power Engineering at RWTH Aachen in 2018. He will initially be working at the INTERCHARGE project.
